I’m currently debating upgrading from standard paper cards to a premiumdigital business card NFC, but I’m stuck on the material choice.



I’ve seen options ranging from Brushed Metal and Matte Black Steel to more natural options like Bamboo, Maple, and Cherry Wood. The idea is that a heavier, tangible card creates a "wow" moment when you hand it over, but I’m wondering if that translates to actual business results.



For those of you who have made the switch to premium materials:



Is the "weight" and feel of a metal card worth the extra cost compared to a standard PVC or wood card?

Do clients actually find the "tap" feature intuitive, or do you find yourself still having to explain how it works?

Is the eco-friendly angle (using biodegradable wood/bamboo) a bigger talking point than the tech itself?

I feel like paper cards just end up in the trash, but I want to make sure dropping extra cash on a Metal or Wood card is a solid investment and not just a vanity purchase.
